The Maths Pill

A somewhat advanced society has figured how to package basic knowledge in pill form.
在一个发达的未来社会，人们研制出了内含基础知识的药丸。
A student, needing some learning, goes to the pharmacy and asks what kind of knowledge pills are available. The pharmacist says "Here's a pill for English literature." The student takes the pill and swallows it and has new knowledge about English literature!
一个需要学习知识的学生来到药房，询问都有些什么药丸。药剂师说：“这是一颗英语文学药丸。”学生吞下这颗药丸，就具备了一些关于英语文学的新知识！
"What else do you have?" asks the student.
“还有什么药丸？”学生问道。
"Well, I have pills for art history, biology, and world history," replies the pharmacist.
“嗯，我有艺术史丸、生物丸和世界史丸。”药剂师答道。
The student asks for these, and swallows them and has new knowledge about those subjects.
学生又要了这些药丸，吞下之后就有了这几门学科的知识。
Then the student asks, "Do you have a pill for maths?"
接着，学生问道：“您有数学药丸吗？”
The pharmacist says "Wait just a moment", and goes back into the storeroom and brings back a whopper of a pill and plunks it on the counter.
药剂师说：“稍等。”他从储藏室搬出一个巨型药片，砰的一声把药片砸在柜台上。
"I have to take that huge pill for maths?" inquires the student.
“我要服用如此巨大的药片才能获得数学知识吗？”学生不禁问道。
The pharmacist replied "Well, you know maths always was a little hard to swallow."
药剂师回答说：“这个嘛，你知道数学总是很难下咽的。
